Information Minister mourns late UAE President; affirms strength of Bahraini-UAE relations

Manama, May 13 (BNA) The Minister of Information Affairs, Ali bin Muhammad Al-Rumaihi, offered his sincere condolences to the United Arab Emirates after the death of the leader of the “Tamkeen” march, the late President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed. Al Nahyan.


In a statement to Sky News Arabia, the minister expressed his sincere condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy of the United Arab Emirates. The President of the State, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the rulers of the Emirates and the brothers and family of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, God willing.

Al-Rumaihi said: “We ask God Almighty to have mercy on the late, God willing, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace,” noting that he is truly “the leader of the empowerment stage,” in the words of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. for him.

The minister indicated that the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, God willing, had led the success story of his country after the departure of the founder of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed, God willing.

He highlighted the late president’s initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in the UAE, in line with his interest in the environment, food security, humanitarian work and education, citing the launch of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation. Khalifa bin Zayed Award for Humanitarian Work and Khalifa Award for Education.

Al-Rumaihi stressed that the UAE, during the era of the late president, adopted a policy based on science and technology, placing the state at the forefront of Arab and Islamic countries in this sector.

At the conclusion of his statement to Sky News Arabia, the Minister of Media Affairs confirmed that the UAE, during the era of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, adopted the approach of goodness, tolerance and peace, which is reflected in its foreign policy, noting that the whole country. The world is confident that the UAE’s charitable march will continue.

The Minister of Information Affairs also made a statement to Al Arabiya News Network in which he stressed the importance of the distinguished Bahraini-Emirati relations, noting that the relations between the rulers and peoples of the two brotherly countries extend for hundreds of years.

He stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UAE are one country, noting that the relations between the two brotherly countries were and still are based on peace, goodness and tolerance. He affirmed their keenness to support the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council to serve the aspirations of its countries and peoples.
