Manama, September 16 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, visited the Rural Union and Al-Malikiyah. clubs.

He was accompanied on the visits by His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority.

During the events, His Highness Sheikh Khaled met with His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Kazem Radi, President of the Countryside Union, and His Excellency Mr. Jassem Abdel Aal, President of Al-Malikiyah Club. It is worth noting that these visits come within the framework of His Highness’ approach to enhancing communication with national clubs in order to implement plans and programs aimed at promoting sports and athletes in line with the policy of the General Sports Authority.

In this context, His Highness, during the visits, praised the efforts of the two clubs towards implementing activities, participating in competitions and embracing Bahraini youth of different age groups in their sports teams, praising the achievements of the two organizations and their contributions to the development of sports. .

In the meantime, His Highness Sheikh Khalid listened to briefings from representatives of both clubs about their future plans that aim to achieve exceptional results and maintain the efforts made towards raising the level of technical and administrative cadres to enhance their contributions to building the sports field in Bahrain.
