HEC Secretary-General, Saudi Cultural Attaché discuss relations

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Council of Higher Education and Vice-Chairman of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, met with the Saudi Cultural Attache to Bahrain, Dr. Yousef Al-Thuwaini. .

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and touched on the mechanism of licensed higher education institutions in the Kingdom for recognition by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The two parties discussed means of exchanging academic expertise, research and students for the advancement of the higher education sector.

Al-Thuwaini praised the continuous interest and follow-up of Saudi students on scholarships in Bahrain’s universities, stressing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to enhance cooperation.

He thanked the Secretary-General for her efforts in improving the educational process in Bahrain.
