Rome, November 5 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairman of its Board of Trustees met Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, the former Italian Minister of Interior and President of Med or Marco Minniti.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Italy, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balushi.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance coordination and strengthen relations between the Higher Committee and the Foundation, especially in cultural activities and scientific research.
The Secretary-General praised the institution’s role in supporting higher education and scientific research.
Minniti praised the Bahraini-Italian relations and the Secretary-General’s continued interest in strengthening ties and working on further development.
