HEC Secretary-General marks International Education Day

Manama, Jan. 23 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairman of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, affirmed the well-established education system in Bahrain with the support of His Majesty the King. Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to continue developing the quality of education, and achieving the Kingdom’s sustainable development goals and the Economic Vision 2030.

The Secretary-General celebrated the International Day of Education approved by the United Nations on January 24, celebrating the role of education for peace and development under the slogan (Investing in people, prioritizing education).

She emphasized the keenness of the Supreme Committee for Higher Education to improve the higher education sector in the Kingdom.
