Manama, June 20 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Equal Opportunities Committee Sheikha Dr. Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa chaired the Equal Opportunities Committee of the Higher Education Council. Meeting.
The Secretary-General praised the Committee’s efforts in promoting equal opportunities for all workers in the Higher Education Council, ensuring that women’s needs are taken into account in all fields and promoting gender equality.
She commended the role of the Supreme Council for Women headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, in supporting gender equality and integrating women’s needs within the framework of equal opportunities.
The meeting discussed participation in the “Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for the Advancement of Bahraini Women” in its seventh edition.
