Manama, June 8 (BNA): Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Syed Jawad Hassan, received Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Rethisri Wijeratne Mendis.
The minister noted the depth of relations between Bahrain and Sri Lanka, cooperation and progress in many sectors.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation.
The ambassador praised Bahrain’s efforts in combating COVID-19 by developing high-level preventive and treatment plans, in addition to granting free vaccinations to all citizens and residents.
Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, expressed her gratitude to the ambassador, wishing her success in her future diplomatic endeavors and advancing cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
