Afro-Asian Affairs Chief meets Bhutan Prime Minister

Thimphu, June 8 (BNA): Head of Afro-Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Faris Al Dhaen met with Bhutan Prime Minister Lutay Tshering on the sidelines of their visit to review the second implementation cycle. United Nations Convention Against Corruption.


The Bhutan Prime Minister praised Bahrain’s progress and development in all fields, wishing the Kingdom more success and prosperity.


Ambassador Al Dhaen expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen relations with Bhutan in all fields and push forward cooperation for the benefit of both countries.

She reviewed the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain during its presidency of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) from 2021 to 2022, in addition to highlighting Bhutan’s active role during its membership in the Asian Cooperation Dialogue.


The meeting touched on issues of common interest and development on the regional and international arenas.
