Health Minister receives GCC Health Council director-general

Manama, October 17 (BNA) The Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, received the Director General of the Health Council for the Gulf Cooperation Council States, Suleiman Al-Dakhil.

The meeting reviewed the agenda of the 81st meeting of the Council of Health Ministers in the Gulf Cooperation Council states, the plans of the Gulf Health Council, and other health-related issues.

The Director-General praised the role of the Bahraini Ministry of Health in supporting the health cooperation of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries by supporting awareness and training programs and hosting scientific conferences and research studies.

He congratulated the Minister of Health for honoring the World Health Organization for its efforts in vaccination.
