Representatives Council holds fourth meeting

Manama, October 26 (BNA) Today, the House of Representatives held its fourth session of the fourth session of the fifth legislative session, headed by Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal.

The House of Representatives reviewed the letter addressed to it by His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister regarding the draft law ratifying the Arab Customs Cooperation Agreement accompanying Decree 106/2021, approving it and referring it to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee and the Legislative Affairs Committee. The Secretary-General of the Legal Affairs Committee, Counselor Rachid Mohamed Bou Nijma, said in a statement after the meeting.

The session was also notified to refer the report of the Board of Supreme Audit (2020-2021) to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee to study and report on it.

The meeting also discussed the committees’ reports on a number of draft laws and proposals, and taking the necessary decisions regarding them.
