Manama, Feb. 23 (BNA): The Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, received today the retired Vice President of Al-Hikma Association, Dr. Saeed Abbas Al-Sammak, and members of the Board of Directors.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation and other common issues. The delegation presented the minister with a copy of a book dealing with the legacy of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, entitled “Preacher, Historian and Thinker”.
Dr. stressed. Hassan affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to providing distinguished health services, stressing its support for initiatives that serve all segments of society. She praised the positive role played by civil society institutions, including the Association for Retired Wisdom.
