Manama, Jan. 18 (BNA): Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, participated today in a meeting held on the sidelines of the Diplomatic Forum 2023. The National Authority for Regulating the Health Sector was attended by Dr. Maryam Al-Jalahma, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Primary Health Care Centers, Dr. Lulwa Schwiter, diplomats and senior officials.
The Minister of Health gave a presentation on the health system in the Kingdom of Bahrain and reviewed the National Health Plan 2016-2025. She stressed that the sustainability of highly competitive health care services is the basis of the health system in Bahrain.
The ambassadors thanked the Ministry of Health and all medical staff for their efforts, especially in light of the Corona virus (Covid-19) pandemic. The inquiries of the heads of diplomatic and consular missions regarding issues related to the health sector were also answered.
