Manama, June 9 (BNA): Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, received Zakaria Ibrahim Al-Kadhim, Head of the Bahraini Sickle Cell Society.
The minister affirmed keenness to provide the best health services to patients with sickle cell anemia, as well as to improve the quality of services provided to them.
She praised the key role played by the Bahraini Sickle Cell Society, which embodies the importance of community partnership in ensuring that all patients have access to high-quality services that meet international standards.
The two sides discussed issues of common concern and ways to enhance cooperation between them to ensure the best services for sickle cell patients.
Al-Kadhim expressed his sincere thanks to the Ministry of Health for its continuous support and cooperation with the Bahraini Sickle Cell Society to serve all patients with sickle cell anemia.
