Role

To assist outlet managers in any task specified/detailed by him/her.
Create innovative, high-quality drinks and train the team to create them.

Providing honest, warm and enthusiastic service that ensures guest satisfaction.

Main deliverables and responsibilities

Planning and Organizing:

Recommend hiring, promotions, and dismissals from the Food and Beverage office.
– To create an attractive list of drinks and recipes in all outlets and update it regularly.
Providing menu engineering for the beverage department
– To create stories of beverage creations.
Participate in planning promotions, beverage purchasing and pricing.
To advise and consult with the bar on matters of service and beverage standards.
Always be aware of the cost of selling food and beverages.
– To provide consumption data for purchasing purposes.
Continuously working to reduce inventory while controlling costs and the storekeeper.
Coordinate with the Food and Beverage Marketing Department and the Food and Beverage Department for all marketing and public relations activities related to the bar.
– To be fully informed at all times of competition activities, themed nights and prices.

Operations:

– Instilling the culture of drinks inside the hotel
– To train all drink lovers on recipes, quality and storytelling about drinks to enhance guest experience
Actively lead in the creation of new drinks, participate in the creation of snacks and menu and improve presentations to achieve the overall goal.
To personally review all beverage related complaints, inform the Food and Beverage office and suggest improvements.
To participate in any training/development schemes as recommended by senior management.
Responsible for proper maintenance and cleanliness of all areas of the bar.
Ensure that health conditions are adhered to in accordance with the health code and hotel standards.
– To supervise the daily beverage team.
To advise and consult with the Food and Beverage Manager on all matters relating to the operation of beverages.
Determining training needs and setting up training programs. Training the team continuously to achieve the highest level of professionalism.
To report any equipment malfunctions/problems to the maintenance department.
To pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
To ensure proper handling of equipment to minimize breakages and losses.
– Inspect all spaces daily before opening according to a fixed standard checklist.
– To enforce and maintain all policies and procedures.
Approve requisitions for purchase of beverages, condiments, general necessities and guest supplies, taking into account the applicable nominal stock.
To maintain standard specifications for all beverages and food products.
Responsible for the health appearance and personal care standards of all employees.
– To check all refrigerators and bar stores to check expiration dates on all items.
To implement and maintain a complete beverage database separately from coordinating the food and beverage database or hotel database with marketing communications.
To perform any other duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Department.
Have a full understanding of and adhere to Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts policy with regard to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
Be familiar with all relevant company documents especially with the relevant operating standards manual for the department.
– Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Administration:

To submit the following reports:
Overtime and overtime consumed per month.
– daily log book
Other expenses control statement
Weekly schedule
Annual vacation schedules
