Gulf Air receives recognition for its efforts in Bahranization

Manama, Dec. 29 (BNA): Gulf Air was honored by the Minister of Labor, Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, during the 37th annual ceremony honoring the most prominent private sector institutions.


The event was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.


This recognition is primarily attributable to Gulf Air’s efforts to recruit, qualify and train talented Bahraini nationals.


Gulf Air is ranked among the highest employers in Bahrain among nationals, and the company has a clear career path that allows these local talents to advance to well-deserved leadership positions, helping it adapt to national trends in the industry.


Captain Walid Al-Alawi, CEO of Gulf Air, praised the ministry’s efforts in highlighting the national trend towards rewarding hardworking workers and encouraging the distinguished national workforce in various manufacturing sites.


Captain Al Alawi confirmed that Gulf Air will continue to develop human resources to support the Ministry’s goal and expand investment opportunities in Bahraini talents.
