Manama, May 18 (BNA): Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, has announced the start of a codeshare agreement with the world’s largest international airline, Emirates Airline, within the framework of a strategic partnership between the two companies.

In the initial phase, Gulf Air will apply its code to a number of Emirates destinations in Europe and the Far East, thus increasing the number of destinations for Gulf Air customers flying from its network.

Destinations include, Denpasar Bali, Indonesia; Brazil; Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and the Czech Republic.

Customers can combine tickets, check-in and baggage transfers and benefit from competitive fares, while premium passengers will also have access to Emirates lounges in Dubai.

Providing additional travel options for passengers demonstrates our commitment to enriching the travel experience of our millions of passengers.” He said.

“Entering this partnership with another highly regarded airline allows us to actually expand our network, enhance our offering and provide an even more seamless travel experience.
