Our client is currently recruiting a qualified Graphic Design Lecturer in Kuwait for a leading American University. This role is for the August 2022 start date.
The ideal candidate is an innovative professional who takes advantage of professional trends and techniques to deliver relevant classroom experiences. The successful candidate will be a leader and currently active member of the design field. Additionally, this individual will be able to use and teach both studio coursework as well as technical or supplementary courses, and demonstrate expertise in industry standard tools including AutoCAD, Revit, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Also, the candidate will have the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse societies and cultures. The position carries an expectation of research and service to the school and university in addition to teaching responsibilities.
Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching related to their specific expertise in professional graphic design curricula, and be able to work within a small specialized program of personal interest. We also expect leadership in undergraduate programs, curriculum development, mentorship, and startups. * Final degree in Graphic Design or a related field
* Effective communication skills in English
* University teaching experience
