Graduation ceremony for counterterrorism course held

Manama, September 25 (BNA) The Directorate of Training at the Ministry of Interior held a graduation ceremony for a course on the role of police leaders in combating terrorism.

The meeting was attended by the Director General of Public Security Affairs, Brigadier Salman Mohammed Al-Zayed, and the security attaché of the US Embassy in Bahrain, Andrew Simpson.

The course was held jointly with the Joint Counter-Terrorism Course and the US Embassy, ​​with the participation of officers from various directorates of the Ministry of Interior.

The Director General said that the course comes within the framework of the development and modernization strategy adopted by the Ministry of Interior. He added that the Chief of Public Security is following up on the strategy to enhance security performance.

He highlighted the importance of holding such courses to enhance efficiency and professionalism. He praised the cooperation between the embassy and Bahrain to exchange experiences and knowledge. He thanked the embassy representatives for their role in organizing the session.
