Manama, April 28 (BNA) The Director General of Port Security, Major General Maher Ahmed Buali, confirmed the readiness of land, air and sea ports to receive visitors to the Kingdom of Bahrain during the Eid holiday, in coordination with the concerned authorities. The preparations are aimed at facilitating the movement of passengers.
He explained that travel traffic returned to its levels in 2019 after most countries eased precautionary measures for COVID-19.
Regarding allowing motorcycles to cross the King Fahd Causeway, he said that the required plans will be implemented and the number of employees and security patrols will be increased to provide all facilities for travelers.
During an inspection visit to the ports, he valued the efforts of cadres during the pandemic to protect development and maintain performance.
