Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets with FCDO Minister of State for Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and United Nations

Riyadh, June 8 (BNA): The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met with the Minister of State for Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and the United Nations in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Commonwealth Office. Development Office (FCDO) Lord Tariq Ahmed, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Coalition Against Daesh, held in Riyadh.


During the meeting, they reviewed the relations of cooperation, friendship and close strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance relations in various political, economic and security fields in light of the results of the meetings of the Bahraini-British Joint Committee, which held its fifteenth meeting in Manama last February. They also shed light on a number of regional and international issues, stressing the keenness of the two friendly countries to combat extremism and terrorism and to consolidate security, stability and peaceful coexistence in the Middle East and the world.
