Brussels, June 23 (BNA) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met today in Brussels with the Director-General of the Immigration and Internal Affairs Department of the Commission Johannes Lochner. .
They discussed prospects for joint cooperation and exchange of experiences with the European Commission.
During the meeting, they reviewed the process of cooperation and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union, and the consultations aimed at exempting citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain from the prerequisite visa requirements (Schengen) when visiting the countries of the European Union.
The discussions also focused on regional and international issues of common interest.
