Manama, May 16 (BNA): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received today Sven Koopmans, the European Union’s Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process, and his accompanying delegation.
They reviewed ways of cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union and ways of supporting it to serve common interests. They also discussed the European Union’s efforts to revive the peace process in the Middle East and achieve regional stability. They also shed light on the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Head of the European Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Qurenis.
