New York, September 22 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met today at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, with the head of the World Jewish Organization. Congress, His Excellency Ronald Lauder, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the World Jewish Congress, within the framework of relations between the two sides and the Ibrahim Agreements, and the opportunities they provide for strengthening efforts to establish peace and stability. and prosperity for the people of the region.
They also stressed the importance of exerting more efforts to support efforts to establish a just and comprehensive peace in the region, and to spread the values of tolerance, coexistence and cooperation among its people, in addition to discussing many issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, Ambassador Jamal Al-Ruwai’i.
