Foreign Minister meets with Nicaraguan counterpart

New York, September 22 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met today at the headquarters of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s mission to the United Nations in New York, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The friendly Republic of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada Colenders, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed relations between Bahrain and Nicaragua and their development in all fields since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two friendly countries in 1991, as well as ways to intensify efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation, leading to the expansion of bilateral relations. Cooperation at all levels in the service of common interests.

A number of topics and issues of common interest and ways to advance the course of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were also discussed.

The meeting was also attended by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, Ambassador Jamal Al-Ruwai’i.
