Amman, August 16 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al-Safadi.
Dr. Al-Zayani praised the strong bilateral relations and the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan.
He valued the common positions between the two countries on enhancing Arab national security and supporting opportunities for comprehensive and just peace at the regional and international levels, in cooperation with other countries.
The two sides affirmed their keenness to further develop bilateral cooperation and partnership in the political, economic and security fields.
They also renewed their commitment to combating extremism, terrorism and foreign interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ahmed Yousef Al-Ruwai, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Rami Saleh, Rikat Al-Adwan, and senior officials in the ministries of foreign affairs in the two countries.
