First Bahrain Psychiatry Conference to be held in October

Manama, Apr. 6 (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of government hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ansari, stressed the continuous development of the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, thanks to the patronage and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He was speaking on the occasion of signing an agreement between government hospitals to organize the first Bahrain Psychiatry Conference, which will be held at the Gulf Hotel on October 12 and 13. The agreement was signed in the presence of a representative. From Education Plus, Dr. Amin Abdullah, and a number of officials.

Al-Ansari pointed out that the conference reflects the importance of Bahrain as a large group of events to highlight the Kingdom’s medical achievements, which turned it into a role model in managing and planning crises, the most prominent of which is the Corona virus pandemic. He also revealed the activities that will be held during the conference, including lectures, seminars and workshops on psychiatry. He indicated that the scientific committee of the conference and the executive committees will be announced.

The representative of Education Plus, Dr. Amin Abdullah, praised the fruitful cooperation between the company and government hospitals in organizing conferences to highlight the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a host to major events.
