Role and Responsibilities:
Overseeing all accounting functions.
Prepare financial documents within the time frames stated in the final schedule and in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles and the standard system of accounts.
Analyze and interpret financial results in order to assist and advise the owner, manager and management team.
On a monthly basis, maintain balance sheet analysis with complete supporting details and prepare accurate forecasts and cash flow statements on demand.
Prepares sales, use and occupancy tax returns in a timely and accurate manner as well as any other external reports or returns as necessary.
Ensure successful cash management of treasury, compliance with management agreement and accompanying legal documents.
Ensure the integrity and efficiency of computerized data processing functions.
Ensure that all financial reports, budgets, forecasts and other information required by the Company are accurately compiled and submitted within established time limits, identify variances, and make recommendations for improvements as appropriate.
Review forecasts and budgets prepared by management teams to ensure owners, director and general manager are provided with reasonable and achievable performance guidelines.
Ensures that all legal, treasury and tax documents are properly maintained and secured, and that all legal and financial reporting requirements are met, which includes any government requirements for permits and licenses.
Ensure that appropriate controls are installed and maintained to protect property assets from loss or misappropriation.
Train department heads regarding their financial responsibilities and effective financial management methods.
Continuously monitor economic, social and governmental trends and policies to ensure that management is kept fully informed of any impacts that may affect the performance of the hotel or restaurant in achieving its financial objectives.

1,200 to 1,700 BD per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Studies is required, Master’s degree and/or CPA is a plus.
10 years of experience at a managerial level in Hospitality Finance is preferred.
Well-organised, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
– Ability to work under time pressures and long hours.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, currently in technical expertise and knowledge.
Excellent skills in financial modeling, project management and critical thinking with a strong work ethic.
