Manama, March 9 / BNA / The Minister of Finance, National and Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received today the new US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Stephen C. Bundy and congratulated him on his appointment, wishing him success in his diplomatic duties.
The minister referred to the strong historical and strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, and highlighted the growing economic and financial cooperation, stressing the importance of expanding the joint partnership.
The two sides reviewed ways to enhance economic and financial cooperation, with a focus on issues of common interest and global economic developments.
