Manama, October 28 (BNA) The Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa held a remote meeting with the President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Samir Nass and other relevant authorities.
The virtual session followed the keynote speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the opening of the fourth session of the fifth legislative term.
Then, His Majesty the King called on businessmen in the various productive, service and economic sectors in the country to propose initiatives to develop the economy and create rewarding jobs for Bahrainis.
The minister said that Bahrain will continue to adopt initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable economic development and stimulating growth, thanks to the directives of His Majesty the King and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The webinar was attended by Minister of Transport and Communications Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain Rashid Mohammed Al-Maraj, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labor Fund (Tamkeen) Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al. Khalifa, CEO of the Economic Development Board Khalid Humaidan, CEO of Tamkeen Hussain Rajab, Director General of the Office of the Prime Minister and Secretary General Hamad Al-Malki.
