HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets students from the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme’s 23rd intake


Manama, June 16 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister today received the 23rd batch of the Crown Prince International Scholarship Program (CPISP) ​​at Riffa Palace.

His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed the importance of investing and creating quality opportunities for Bahrain’s youth, who play a key role in the Kingdom’s continuous comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Highness congratulated the students for accepting the program, and praised their performance in the application process, which indicates their determination to achieve and excel.

His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister praised the great achievements of the Institute’s employees, and the support provided by educational institutions to participating students.

His Highness referred to the achievements of the graduates of the program, including their assumption of leadership positions in local and international businesses. In this regard, His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister expressed his pride in appointing H.E. Noor bint Ali Al-Khalif as Minister of Sustainable Development, the first woman among the graduates of the program.

The 2022 scholarship recipients were selected from among 707 Bahraini students and applicants studying abroad. Final selection criteria included students’ grade point average, IELTS and SAT exam scores, leadership training and a critical thinking course organized by CPISP as part of last year’s nomination training.

Students of the 23rd batch of the Crown Prince International Scholarship Program expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness for empowering Bahraini youth.

The Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Adviser for Political and Economic Affairs in the Court of the Crown Prince, Board Member of the Crown Prince International Scholarship Program (CPISP), His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Chief of the Crown Prince’s Court also attended the meeting.
