Finance and National Economy Minister hails Bahrain-Saudi ties

Manama, March 9 (BNA) Minister of Finance, National and Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa praised the historical relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. During his reception, the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Murshed, praised the steadily increasing cooperation in all fields.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf, Minister of Housing Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar and Minister of Youth and Sports Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayad.

The minister praised the Saudi Arabia’s continuous support for vital development projects in Bahrain, which reflects the strong relations that bind the two brotherly countries and peoples.

He praised the role of the Fund in following up on the implementation of the Saudi grant provided to the Kingdom of Bahrain within the Gulf Development Program, noting the economic and social plans that have a direct positive impact on citizens and contribute to stimulating growth.

The two sides stressed the importance of the visit, highlighting aspects of joint cooperation and future development projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
