Stewardess of Fairmont Gold Lounge

As a Superintendent of the Fairmont Gold Lounge, you will demonstrate your leadership and personal strengths to maximize room operations and ensure an exceptional guest journey. At Fairmont Austin, our exclusive hotel floor, Fairmont Gold, is a distinct hotel experience within a hotel. Our dedicated Fairmont Gold team strives to provide the highest level of personalized service to each Fairmont Gold guest. VIP service begins as soon as you arrive at the specially booked reception on the private Fairmont Gold Level.
What will you do:
• Manage all aspects of the Fairmont Gold experience and ensure that all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
• Handle guest concerns and respond quickly, tracking and notifying appropriate areas to ensure unforgettable moments for our guests
• Maximizing room revenue by participating in revenue management meetings and implementing agreed revenue management strategies and practices
• Preparing weekly reports on the department’s working hours in accordance with expectations and budget
• Prepare monthly reports on Fairmont Gold expenses, profit and loss statements, and sale proceeds
• Track and forecast daily, weekly and monthly Fairmont Gold occupancy levels and plan management and staffing accordingly
• Work with the Executive Chef and Culinary Team to determine the Fairmont Gold Lounge’s menu offering
• Handle guest concerns and respond quickly, recording and notifying appropriate areas
• Develop the department’s onboarding program and train all colleagues at Fairmont Gold
• Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure brand loyalty
• Providing exceptional concierge information to our guests about local and regional attractions

Your experience and skills include:
• Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
• Previous experience working with Opera or a related system
• Experience working in the preparation of food and beverages
• Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
• Clearly communicate ideas, actions and opportunities with strong communication skills
• The ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the stage for high performance
