Manama, Dec. 12 (BNA): Export Bahrain signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Bank of Bahrain to support businesses in Bahrain through access to financial and other services.
This MoU is in line with Export Bahrain’s commitment to expand the global reach of Bahrain-based exporters. It is also in line with NBB’s direction to support Bahraini companies throughout their entire business cycle.
This new strategic partnership will help viable companies by providing banking solutions that will help them grow their trade across borders and expand globally.
“The main focus of Export Bahrain is to establish mutually beneficial relationships that will encourage the export of national products and services and help Bahrain-based companies overcome all obstacles,” said Safaa Sharif Abdulkhaleq, CEO of Export Bahrain.
The CEO of the National Bank of Bahrain, Jean-Christophe Durand, expressed his happiness with this new partnership with Export Bahrain.
He said, “National Bank of Bahrain has enhanced its trade finance offerings in recent years to help clients develop their trade flows.”
“We are confident that this MoU with Export Bahrain will further facilitate exports from Bahrain and, as a result, will contribute to the Kingdom’s economic recovery plan,” he said.
