The cost of the project is about 21 million Bahraini dinars, funded by the Electricity and Water Authority and the SCADA system, which is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2024.
The head of the Electricity and Water Authority stressed the importance of developing strategies and initiatives concerned with strengthening the electricity and water sector.
He said that the project will contribute to maintaining the services provided by the Electricity and Water Authority at the best quality, reducing maintenance costs and enhancing the operational efficiency of the electricity and water networks.
The new control center will also contribute to reducing the environmental impact and reducing technical and efficiency losses in the production of electricity and water from the production stations (economic distribution).
