European new car sales down in September – ACEA

Berlin, Oct. 16 (BUS) – European car registrations fell more than 25% in September due to vehicle shortages due to persistent shortages of semiconductors, industry data showed on Friday.

Figures from the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA) showed that new passenger car registrations fell by 25.2% in the European Union, Britain and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries compared to last year.
