Euro pulls back from near parity, up 0.2%

London, Jul 12 (BUS): The euro rebounded from near parity against the dollar on Tuesday and pushed into positive territory in choppy London trade.


Against the dollar, the euro rose 0.2% to $1.0057, after dropping 0.4% to $1.00005 previously. Traders reported large buy orders at the parity level through cash and derivative structures.


Reuters reported that the common currency’s jump pushed the dollar index down, with the unit trading at 108.03.
