about the role

PricewaterhouseCoopers opens a new Technology and Innovation Center in Cairo that will provide high-quality technology solutions to consulting clients worldwide. The center will provide a wide range of skills and services to our clients, from bundled applications such as SAP and Oracle, to cloud services that use AWS, Azure, and Google, as well as extending our existing managed services capabilities.

The center is looking to expand rapidly and we are looking for enthusiastic start-ups with a passion for technology and customer delivery to help shape and shape this new venture.

We are looking to hire an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cairo. The successful candidate will be an early-career college graduate. They will obtain a qualification in a Software Engineering / Computer Science / DevOps related discipline and will be eager to advance their career in the AWS field.
You will be part of a team reporting to the Cloud Delivery Manager and you will be an integral part of the team based in Cairo, as well as those providing client conversion programs across PwC’s global network, including the UK, Germany and the Middle East.

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the following areas:

– Conducting professional certification exams and courses
Play a role in large-scale, complex customer transformation programs enabled by AWS products and services
Providing exceptional customer service and solutions
Working with a global mindset with teams based in UK, Germany and other Middle Eastern countries

Role Requirements:

– Participate in design activities with the client
Supporting the development of technical specifications required to provide the functional requirements of the solution
– Support to create a stream of deliverables

Essential Skills and Attributes:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to basic presentation skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and unstructured environment.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize effectively and continuously
