responsibilities

As a manager, you will be responsible for designing, establishing, advocating, governance, scaling and measuring the success of our Agile, PM and Delivery frameworks.
You will recruit and supervise a team of Agile Leaders in the roles of Scrum Master, Kanban Flow Master, and/or POs, DevOps, Architects, BA and PMs.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle models as well as expert knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to suit the project and business environment
Develop and grow a global team of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches across multiple technology towers – including work assignments and tracking, career development, coaching and mentoring while completing staff in this role as needed
Defining and directing the organization’s rapid transformation strategy
Performing the “Agile Trainer” role through advocacy, coaching and mentoring across the organization and in the community
– Create an agile, mature and healthy software development work environment, in the context of our organizational values
Provide continuous improvements in operational capabilities to improve efficiency
Create regular reports including performance indicators and metrics, executive reports and other ad hoc reports required by management
Work closely with the recruitment team and leaders of our tech towers to recruit the right people for our flexible teams
Coordinates between and between Agile teams to progress, resolve obstacles, and oversee project management
Clearly define delivery center guidelines
Ensure strong organizational information flow (extend coach scope)
Collaborate with the executive leadership team on portfolio governance on Scrum, Kanban and other projects and facilitate start-up or shutdown of teams based on investment decisions
Facilitates organizational learning, change management, adoption of the Agile process across metrics, and retroactive realization of benefits, outcomes, and outcomes
Lead a team of Agile Project Managers as the leader of the Project Management Office.
Lead the Agile project management lifecycle from estimate to delivery by defining project scope and schedule with a focus on timely value delivery; Organize and lead project case and business meetings; Preparing and distributing progress reports; manage risks and issues; correction of deviations from plans; Executing delivery planning for assigned projects.
Lead the team of Agile PMs and Scrum of Scrums and POs, Architecture Leads, BA Leads and take full responsibility for the lead DevOps team.
Demonstrable experience of leading a continuous improvement program within diversified capacity technology towers to increase the quality and efficiency of service provided to regions
As required, able to work with client follow-up/engagement teams within the territory to co-create client proposals/solutions utilizing center staff
Very well networked and respected in the local Agile professional workforce community (“Resource Magnet”)

requirements

– University degree, preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
At least 15 years of experience in a leading role in building, maturing, and operating an Oracle Offshore/Offshore Delivery Center providing transformational (build) and support (operational) services
Demonstrable experience of assuming full commercial responsibility (P&L) and operational responsibility for an Oracle capacity tower in the context of an overall hub
Demonstrable experience of leading a continuous improvement program within Al Qudra Tower to increase the quality and efficiency of the service provided to the regions
Strong and broad experience across all Oracle modules and other related Oracle products (candidates with legacy Oracle experience will not be suitable)
As required, able to work with client follow-up/engagement teams within the territory to co-create client proposals/solutions utilizing center staff
Very well networked and respected in the local Agile professional workforce community (“Resource Magnet”)

Essential Skills and Attributes:

A proven track record of successfully implementing programs and/or enterprise digital transformation projects using Agile methodologies including 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large and complex projects in a high-tech development environment with cross-functional teams. PMP . preferred
Previous experience with SCRUM / Agile methodologies with enterprise level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience of leading an Agile transformation within a large complex organization(s) is preferred.
Experience in supervising cross-functional project teams including Developers, Scrum Masters, PMs, Pos, Architects, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps and SysOps personnel
Sufficient level of software development and implementation technical background to provide credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively assess complex project risks and issues
Highly effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaboration and team building
Previous experience in influencing without authority through technical tribal leaders and large-scale functional team management organizations is preferred
Solid understanding and proven experience in using appropriate PM and Agile tools such as Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or equivalent
