Rixos Doha Qetaifan
Rixos Doha Qetaifan will open in mid-2022 and will consist of a 345-key hotel, along with an 11,000 square meter rental market, beach club, theme park and water park. The resort will offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Set to make its debut ahead of the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform to showcase Qatar as a tourist destination. One of the country’s biggest attractions will be the water park on Qetaifan Island North, the Icon Tower, the tallest tower of its kind in the world, reaching 82 meters in height.
Entertainment Manager
This position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the entertainment division with overall responsibility for the scheduling and delivery of entertainment programs and management of the entire entertainment team, to improve guest satisfaction as well as ensuring that all productivity and expense controls are followed and all revenue opportunities are utilized.

What will you do:
General management of the entertainment department in line with brand requirements and local laws and regulations.
Assist in the development of annual budgets and short- to long-term strategic planning for the operation of the entertainment division
Ensure that all recreational activities operate efficiently and cost-effectively, and review expenditures to ensure that they are kept within operating budgets
Quality Control and Control Checks/evaluates all activities, performances, events and guest responses.
Ensures proper timing of performances and adequate ambient lighting, sound levels and background music are maintained.
Meetings – Arranging and leading meetings with team leaders (eg CD, dance teams, senior tech).
Schedule and chair weekly full team meetings. Review daily productivity and measure actual budget performance
Establishes standard operating procedures and policies related to safety and emergency functions in all aspects of entertainment.
Develop and manage all employee training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, and providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business
Consistently provide professional, friendly and engaging service.
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum 4 years of hotel/resort experience managing leisure functions across various aspects.
Experience in handling a complex role or cluster is an added advantage.
Certificate in Massage Therapy or Cosmetology from a recognized school
– Proficiency in reading, writing and oral English
– Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
Experience in developing and implementing creative spa promotional programs.
Strong team player with excellent leadership skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to make decisions while handling many projects simultaneously
