An exciting career opportunity for young and talented events and entertainment coordinators. We will work collaboratively regardless of job titles or duties to deliver world-class entertainment. The Events and Entertainment Coordinator provides assistance and support to the Production Management Team and Stage Management Team in coordinating talent, technical, and start-up/close procedures. You are required to create and maintain documentation for schedules, routes, and production books. You will support the day-to-day operations of rehearsals/shows and events, and interaction with the cast/crew/front line crew and guests. The event coordinator will also handle the coordination, planning, and on-site execution of events, birthdays, and team buildings across the park.

• The monthly gross salary will range between 3800 – 4400 dirhams (including accommodation, transportation and any other utility allowances

Main duties:
• Performs duties of opening and/or closing the venue or area, including logging in/out and crew, and monitoring start/stop procedures. Monitor all training, performance and backstage areas to demonstrate quality, safety, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Coordinates production plans and directs the activities of the performers and stage crew during rehearsals and performances.
• Support the supervisor on event documentation including status report and FYI for the night
• Monitors performances on stage/back stage/greenrooms to display quality, safety and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Communication of relevant information between/within departments
• Act as the first point of contact to handle guest situations in a positive and professional manner.
• The ability to keep information confidential.
• Implement and maintain the policies, procedures and processes of the respective function/department and ensure existing ones are reviewed and updated as part of Continuous Process Improvement.
• Maintaining relevant electronic systems to achieve efficiency and effectiveness of existing operations.
• Communicate with internal and external DPR clients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Act as the primary contact for entertainment venues and performers during performances and events while relaying information to resolve any issues that arise.
• Monitor event logistics to ensure that all entertainment items comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the Motiongate Entertainment division.
• Plan and provide on-site support for assigned events.
• Must be able to adapt to the ever changing work environment.
• Any other duties that the management team may reasonably request.
• Liaise with the mice sales team regarding bookings for events and birthdays.

To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following criteria:

Basis:
• A high school diploma or its equivalent.
• At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
• Advanced English language skills – written and spoken.
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly, solve problems and implement solutions.

desirable:
• Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related.
• At least 3 years experience in amusement parks and/or professional theatre
• The ability to navigate well on both PC and Mac computers
• Available to work overtime as per schedule and work on weekends.
• You may be required to travel outside of the site office.
