Electricity Minister discusses cooperation with Saudi counterpart

Riyadh, October 3 (BNA) Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan headed a delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the context of strengthening cooperation in various development fields.

The minister met with the Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fadhli, and they discussed issues of common interest.

Humaidan said that the historical depth of the Bahraini-Saudi relations is the basis for cooperation and integration between the two ministries.

He referred to the support enjoyed by these relations from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The ministers agreed to continue their cooperation to serve the common sectors by forming joint technical task forces to work on common goals and contribute to enhancing water, environment and energy security.
