Manama, October 3 (BNA) The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayad congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister on their nomination for the position of Prime Minister. Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, president of the Asian Football Confederation, for a new term (2023-2027).
The minister congratulated the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the nomination of Sheikh Salman.
He praised their support of sports leaders and international achievements.
“The nomination came as a clear recognition of Bahrain’s success in leading the largest continental football federation,” the minister said.
