Elections Call Centre receives more than 4,200 phone calls since its inauguration on September 12

Manama, September 28 (BNA): Official statistics issued by the Executive Administration for Parliamentary and Municipal Elections 2022 showed that the call center “77277277”, and since its launch two weeks ago on September 12, has received more than 4,200 phone calls.

The statistics revealed that the call center, which is one of the official channels for obtaining official information about the electoral process, is run by qualified and trained employees to respond and answer all inquiries of callers and under the supervision of the Legal Committee of the Executive Authority. The Elections Department operates daily, during holidays and official holidays, from nine in the morning until nine in the evening. It also provides its services in both Arabic and English.

The Executive Administration indicated that citizens’ interest in contacting the call center to obtain information reflects the Bahraini voter’s keenness to develop his legal culture around the electoral process. She also indicated that most of the calls received by the call center focused on receiving information about the locations of the supervisory committees, voter lists, volunteering, eligibility to vote and candidacy, and conditions for electoral campaigning…etc.

The Executive Administration confirmed that the call center will continue to receive calls from callers until the last day of the elections, to form, in addition to the website, supervisory committees, and the official accounts of the elections on social media, among the most important. Important channels for obtaining official information about elections.
