Education Ministry, Nasser Vocational Training Centre sign agreement

Manama, September 19 (BNA) The Ministry of Education and the Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to exchange experiences, conduct joint research and use facilities, including laboratories, to develop artificial intelligence curricula.

The Director General of Schools Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Mubarak bin Ahmed, stressed the importance of partnership between government school institutions and educational sectors.

He praised the role of the center in promoting technical and vocational education and building bridges of communication with relevant government agencies and private sector institutions.

He indicated that technical and vocational education schools and institutes will be integrated with the Nasser Center for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training, through conducting research, exchanging practices and benefiting from the components that the center has, including artificial intelligence research.

The Center’s Executive Director, Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Nuaimi, stressed the center’s role in consolidating the concepts of artificial intelligence and space sciences in its curricula.

“The center has also concluded partnership agreements with many different government and private institutions,” said Dr. Al-Naimi.

He pointed out that the partnership with the ministry, institutions and other educational sectors is part of the center’s work to build bridges of cooperation between various parties.
