Education Minister participates in Arab Education Ministers conference

Manama, November 25 (BNA) Minister of Education, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, participated in the 12th Conference of Arab Ministers of Education, which was held by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO). Under the title “Catching up with Education, the Second Chance”, and headed by the State of Palestine.

In his capacity as president of the previous session, the Minister of Education conveyed in his opening speech the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to all participants in the conference. . He also expressed the honor of handing over the presidency of the current session to Palestine.

The Minister of Education stressed Bahrain’s success in dealing with the epidemic thanks to the directives of His Majesty the King and the leadership of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the National Medical Team. He pointed to the ministry’s success in ensuring the sustainability of education in all its stages, despite the suspension of the actual attendance of students for months. He pointed to the Ministry’s reliance on a solid base of e-learning in schools thanks to the King Hamad Schools for the Future project, which was launched in 2005. He referred to the advanced stage that the project reached by launching the Digital Empowerment Program in Education in 2015. This is a milestone in providing teachers and students with technological capabilities sophisticated.
