Education Minister honors 33 schools for being awarded “Technology Incubator Schools” status by Microsoft

Manama, September 26 (BNA) The Minister of Education, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, honored the principals of 33 public and private schools for obtaining the rank of “technology incubator schools” according to the Microsoft classification, after their participation in the program. offered by the company, along with other schools around the world.

The scheme aims to raise the efficiency of the educational system and enhance the level of students through a set of advanced modern learning strategies that drive digital transformation, development momentum, develop creativity and innovation, and keep pace with the skills of the twenty-first century.

To celebrate this occasion, the Minister of Education praised the efforts made to achieve this achievement by benefiting from the King Hamad Schools Project for the Future and Digital Transformation.

The number of schools in Bahrain that won the title from Microsoft has increased from 14 last year to 33 this year. Some schools managed to grab the title for the second time in a row.

The meeting was attended by Nawal Al-Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Policies and Strategies and a number of officials.

It is worth noting that the schools that won the title for the second time in a row are Sitra Primary School for Boys, the Primary Religious Institute, Al Andalus Primary School for Girls, Nusaiba Bint Kaab Primary School for Girls, Ibn Sina Primary School for Boys, and Al-Andalus Primary School for Girls. – Al Malikiyah Preparatory School for Girls, Halima Al Saadiya Intermediate School for Girls, Al Hadd Secondary School for Girls, Saar Secondary School for Girls, and Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Secondary School for Boys.
