The minister indicated that the achievement is a fruitful result of the continuous cooperation between the concerned authorities, namely the Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), representing business owners, noting that the coordinated work between all these The authorities contributed to accelerating the pace of employment after the exceptional circumstances resulting from the emerging Corona virus pandemic, and the launch of the economic recovery plan.
The Minister submitted a memorandum to the Cabinet session held here yesterday regarding the employment results for the economic recovery plan in the first quarter of 2022.
The Minister of Labor and Social Development explained, in a statement on the occasion of the occasion, that up to 7,740 citizens were employed in the private sector during the first quarter of this year, equivalent to 39% of the target number.
He added that the report showed an increase in employment by 32.1% and training by 36% compared to the same period during 2021.
He stressed that the positive numbers indicate the success of the employment initiatives that were launched within the economic recovery plan.
