Global Sports Event – Accommodation Services in Qatar
Alternate Manager (fixed term contract until January 2023)
The role is based in Qatar.
What will you do:
Managing a team of more than 250 employees
– Manage accommodation services for more than 10,000 rooms
– Project management
Support the front office manager in day to day business
– Be a point of contact for guest requests
Your experience and skills include:
Hospitality specializing in housekeeping
Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is an added advantage
At least 8 years of experience in hospitality, operations or customer service
– At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position
Experience with teams greater than 250 plus
Knowledge of budget planning and cost control is required
– Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving abilities
– Responsible and very reliable
A practical approach is essential
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– A valid driving license, ideally in Qatar or an international driving license is an added advantage
Knowledge in project and/or risk management is an added advantage
Desirable pre-opening Middle East hotel experience
Service-focused character required, prior leadership experience required
– Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
Clearly communicate ideas, actions, and opportunities with strong communication skills
Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the stage for high performance
