Durant, Harden help Nets beat Raptors for 5th straight win

Toronto, Nov. 8 (BUS): Kevin Durant scored 31 points and James Harden 16 of 28 points in the fourth quarter and the Brooklyn Nets won their fifth game in a row by beating the Toronto Raptors 116-103 on Sunday.

Blake Griffin scored 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Patty Mills scored 13 points to help Steve Nash claim victory in his first game in his home country as a head coach in the NBA. Harden also had 10 rebounds and eight assists.

Durant was playing in Toronto for the first time since he tore his left Achilles tendon while playing for Golden State in Game Five of the 2019 NBA Finals. 11-for-18 All-Star shot goes 3-for-6 from 3-point range, 6-for-1 6 at the free throw line. He had seven rebounds and seven assists.

Fred Vanfleet scored 21 points for Toronto. Raptors striker Pascal Siakam made his first game of the season after missing his first 10 matches due to left shoulder surgery. Siakam scored 15 points in 25 minutes.

Washington: Bradley Bell scored 30 points and Washington beat Milwaukee.

Kyle Kuzma added 15 points and 10 rebounds to help Washington clinch an eight-game losing streak in the series with the Bucks. Montrezel Harrell also scored 15 points.

Giannis Antetokonmo scored 29 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for the defending champion Bucks. They lost five of six to go down to 4-6.

New York: Ricky Rubio scored 37 to help Cleveland beat New York.

Cleveland won four times in a row to advance to 7-4. Evan Mobley added 26 points, Garrett Allen 18 and Darius Garland 16. Rubio’s previous career high was 34 points with Utah against San Antonio in 2018.

Orlando, FL: Cole Anthony scored 10 of his top 33 points of the season in the fourth quarter and took the 24-11 win in Orlando’s win over Utah.

Wendell Carter Jr. added a season’s best 22 points and 15 rebounds.

Donovan Mitchell scored 21 points for Utah. Rudy Gobert scored 21 points and 15 rebounds.

Muhammad Abdullah Ali Al-Hwaiti 94

Oklahoma City: Mike Moskala scored 20 points in 14 minutes and Oklahoma City rebounded to beat San Antonio.

Muscala made 5 of 6 field goals and 7 of 9 free throws in one of the most productive offensive games of his career.

Keldon Johnson scored 22 points for San Antonio,

Sacramento, CA: Caris Levert scored 22 points and Indiana beat Sacramento with a 15-point lead.

Domontas Sabonis scored 17 points and 10 rebounds to help Indiana earn their first win in Sacramento since 2018. TJ McConnell added 17 points.

Harrison Barnes scored 22 points for Sacramento.
