Doncic gets triple-double as Mavericks beat Warriors 116-113

DALLAS, Nov. 30 (BNA): Luka Doncic scored 41 points in his fifth NBA-leading triple-double. The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Golden State Warriors 116-113 on Tuesday night in the first meeting between last season’s finalists in the Western Conference.

The fourth quarter saw plenty of action as the Mavericks ended a four-game losing streak, the longest in two seasons under head coach Jason Kidd, the Associated Press reports.

The Warriors, who beat the Mavericks in five games last spring en route to the title, lost just the second time in seven games after a slow start to their season.

Stephen Curry scored 32 points for Golden State, including a 3-point rush-tying game on the Maxi Clipper to take a 110-108 lead, but Dallas responded by scoring the next five points to go ahead for good.

Doncic also grabbed 12 rebounds and 12 assists for his 51st career triple-double.

The Pistons lost starters Cady Cunningham (shin) and Jalen Ivey (knee), but Bogdanovic and Stewart returned from injuries.
